FTI 2026 has ended
We’e so excited you’re joining us for the FTI! We encourage you to provide feedback on sessions and engage in some friendly competition with our 2026 FTI Game
Monday May 18, 2026 3:00pm - 3:45pm PDT
In this introductory session, we'll discuss pragmatic approaches to UDL's three core principles, which are grounded in what cognitive psychology tells us about learning and memory. Representation: when students lack prior knowledge, multiple entry-points to a topic can help. Expression: familiar formats let students demonstrate learning with less friction. Engagement: finding meaning is a precondition for remembering. No prior knowledge of UDL required.
